New Energy is happy to announce the availability of two EnCurrent Power Generation Systems for site demonstration and validation purposes. These systems are available for timeframes of three to four months to organizations that have access to an approved site.

Interested parties can contact New Energy, preferably through email at sales@newenergycorp.ca, or one of our resellers to get more information on the availability of the systems and the criteria for arranging delivery. The systems are available FOB Calgary and require the use of New Energy personnel for installation and removal.

The two systems include the power generation system and floating structure required for installation into either a tidal or freshwater application including a grid-tie inverter. If the system is to be used for standalone operation the project proponent is required to provide the power electronics required. New Energy personnel will also need to review the desired approach to interconnect to the load.

The system  include one 5 kW EnCurrent Power Generation System and one 25 kW EnCurrent Power Generation System. Both systems are high-flow models, generating faceplate capacity at 3 m/s.
