Canoe Pass, British Columbia, Canada

Canoe Pass is a tidal power generation demonstration project located on the British Columbia coast. The project involves the removal of an existing causeway between Maud and Quadra Islands, installing two 250 kW power generation systems, and connecting to the local 25 kV distribution line.

Equipment and site construction is anticipated to commence in the summer of 2017.
