Floating Support

A pontoon-style floating support provides a secure base for the power generation system. These systems are custom-designed to minimize the overall footprint of the floating assembly and to provide a stable platform for both power-generation and maintenance work. Their versatile mobility provides the opportunity for custom placement in the water current in order to optimize power generation of the system.

The pontoons also allow for the turbine to be rotated up and out of the water for ease of transport and maintenance.

Dimensions may vary depending on the needs of a given application, however the chart below provides typical maximum footprints of the floating systems for each corresponding power unit. For more information on minimum clearances required please see the relevant power unit page(s).
